Bulk Delete for ChatGPT & Claude (internal codename ChatBroom) is a Chrome extension developed by GetPickAds. This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
1. What the Extension Does on Your Device
The extension helps you delete, archive, and export your own chats on ChatGPT (chatgpt.com) and Claude (claude.ai). It reads your chat list and the chats you choose to export directly from those sites using your signed-in session in that tab.
Chat titles and content are processed only in your browser and are never sent to GetPickAds. Exports are created on your computer and saved to your Downloads folder.
Settings, auto-clean rules, the daily free export count, and local preferences stay in chrome.storage on this device.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
When you choose to sign in with Google for Premium, we may receive and store information such as your email address or account identifier.
We use this information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Associate your Premium subscription with your account
- Provide Premium entitlement, billing portal access, and account-related functionality
You can delete and archive chats on the Free plan without creating a GetPickAds account.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
Bulk Delete does not intentionally collect or transmit:
- Chat titles, message content, conversation IDs, or chat URLs
- Exports or backups of your conversations (those stay on your device)
- Payment card numbers (payments are handled by the payment provider)
- Precise location information
4. What Leaves Your Device
Requests to ChatGPT or Claude that you start (list, delete, archive, export) go only to those services, using your own signed-in session, as if you used their own buttons.
If you sign in and subscribe to Premium, account and entitlement checks go to GetPickAds APIs, and payments are processed by Dodo Payments on its checkout pages under its own privacy policy.
Usage stats: when analytics is enabled, anonymous product events (for example “delete finished”, size buckets like 50–199 chats, install, plan) may be sent with a random install identifier, extension version, and plan. Never chat titles, content, IDs, or links. You can turn this off on the welcome page or in the popup.
5. Browser Permissions and Local Processing
The extension uses Chrome permissions such as storage, alarms, and identity so it can remember settings and the free export quota, refresh Premium status, flush queued analytics, and sign you in if you choose to.
Content scripts run only on chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, and claude.ai so the in-page panel can list, delete, archive, or export your own chats with your session. No other site is accessed for chat operations.
6. Third-Party Services
Google Sign-In may be used when you voluntarily authenticate for Premium.
Payment information is processed by Dodo Payments. Bulk Delete does not intentionally collect or store users’ full payment card information.
If product analytics is enabled, limited anonymous usage events may be processed by our analytics provider according to its privacy practices.
ChatGPT and Claude process your requests under their own terms and privacy policies when you use delete, archive, or export features.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by the extension and its associated services.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
Account information is retained for as long as necessary to provide account and Premium functionality or as required for legitimate business and legal purposes.
Local settings, auto-clean rules, and the free export counter remain in your browser until you clear extension data or uninstall.
You can sign out to stop using your GetPickAds account in the extension.
9. Your Choices
You can use Free unlimited delete and archive without signing in.
You may choose whether to sign in with Google, subscribe to Premium, or enable auto-clean rules.
You can turn off anonymous usage stats on the welcome page or in the popup.
You can remove the extension or clear its storage in Chrome’s extension settings.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the extension’s functionality or data practices change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
