How to Print Several Gmail Emails at Once

Updated October 2026 · v1.0.4

Gmail prints the conversation you have open. It does not offer one print job for an arbitrary set of rows in the inbox.

Attachly adds a Print action for the messages you select, so a short stack of emails can go to the printer or to Save as PDF without opening each thread.

Print from the open message

Fine for one or two threads. Slow after that, and easy to skip a row.

  1. Open the first message. Use Gmail on the web.
  2. Print it. Use the message print control. Pick a printer or Save as PDF.
  3. Repeat. Go back to the list and open the next message. There is no queue in Gmail for this.

Print the selection

Select every thread that should be on paper, then use Attachly once.

  1. Select the rows. Tick the conversations. Search first if they are not on one screen.
  2. Choose Print. Attachly’s Print action sends that selection through the print flow.
  3. Check the preview. Confirm the right threads are included before you print a long job.

Paper is a copy, not the mailbox

  • Printing does not remove the email from Gmail.
  • Very long threads can be many pages. Preview before you print.
  • Free is meant for everyday jobs. A large selection is a Premium export.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I print only unread mail?

Search in:inbox is:unread, select the rows you want, then print that selection. Attachly does not invent its own unread filter.

Does Print also save a PDF?

Choose Save as PDF in Chrome’s dialog, or use Attachly’s Save PDF action if you want files without the print dialog for each message.

Will confidential mode emails print?

If Gmail will not show the body, Attachly cannot invent the text. Open the message and see what Gmail itself displays.
